Guest Teacher Angela Melendez in Liebstein
We proudly present Angela Melendez from Buenos Aires to be the first guest teacher in Liebstein.
Angela is a professional dancer with a rigorous academic background and a leading figure in the current Buenos Aires tango scene. With a solid foundation in Classical Ballet and a distinguished competitive career Ángela seamlessly blends technical precision with the expressive depth of dance-theater.
As a key figure in today’s evolution of social dance in Buenos Aires, she is leading the weekly Role-Switching (Cambio de Rol) Classes and Practica at El Zorzal Cultural every Monday. Her pedagogical influence also extends to the iconic La Cachivachería where she is regularly teaching.
On stage, Angela is a featured performer in the hit production Cabaret Porteño. As a co-founder of the Anguila Tango Trío, Ángela brings a comprehensive vision to her workshops that integrates musicality, humor, and conscious movement, drawn from her extensive tours across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Ladies and Gents take the chance and learn from Angela’s outstanding presence and expertise in both roles of dancing.
All level taylormade classes for the Liebstein community are followed by instructed practicas in the newly restored Liebstein barn (music by DJ Chris!)
